Southern Gospel Sundays with The Frosts Returns for Third Season at Americana Theatre in Branson
BRANSON, MO — One of Branson’s most beloved faith-and-family traditions is returning for another season. Southern Gospel Sundays with The Frosts will launch its third season at the Americana Theatre beginning Sunday, April 26, 2026, and running through December 13, 2026, with performances held at 5:00 PM most Sundays.
Honored as “Gospel Show of the Year” at the 2024 Branson Show Awards, Southern Gospel Sundays with The Frosts has quickly become a favorite among Branson visitors, church groups, tour buses, and gospel music fans seeking both heartfelt worship and genuine joy.
The show features Michael Jason Frost, Jen Frost, and their daughter Jael Frost, blending tight family harmony, powerful gospel vocals, testimony-driven moments, and uplifting inspiration. Accompanying the Frost family on piano is Branson favorite Clayton Watson, whose musical excellence and joyful spirit elevate each performance.
A defining element of the show is its original music, written by Michael Jason Frost, an accomplished songwriter whose work has been recorded and performed by some of gospel music’s most respected artists, including The McKameys, Ivan Parker, The Hyssongs, and many others. His original songs are seamlessly woven alongside beloved gospel classics, hymns, praise & worship songs, and familiar favorites, giving audiences a fresh yet deeply rooted worship experience.
Adding laughter and a touch of lovingly familiar “church sass” is Jen Frost’s adored comedic character, Sister Bertha Busybody. With her overstuffed purse, bold opinions, and sharp-witted observations on church life, Sister Bertha delivers moments of clean, heartfelt comedy that resonate across generations—while always pointing back to faith, grace, and joy.
